It has been over five years since I started uploading TEN to Smackjeeves and it has been one hell of a ride.
There were some bumps along the road which were my own fault, I know that.
I should have told everyone beforehand, that I am only allowed to upload 6 of 9 chapters of every book and everyone that got mad at me when it happened for the first time had the absolute right to do so. I didn't do it to fool anyone though, please be sure of that. It just never came to my mind, really.
There were lots of nice things along the way, too. And I was happy about every name I realized had popped up more than once, ever comment that showed you're just as interested in the story as I am.
And I think, even though there is only one page left of this story that I am allowed to upload freely (aside from the three chapter covers from the chapters that you can't read online)...
Or rather I hope... this will never end.
I don't want it to end.
And yes, this is the moment where I start to tear up, because I realize, this still is kind of where TEN ends!
But I can wipe away my tears quickly, because I won't really let it end here. There's still so much I want to tell about the boys, the world, the backgrounds and stuff. I want to tell you stories about some character's pasts. (Someone once said they wanted to know more about Inori's past. Yes, I remember that, you.) And I want to tell stories about what happens in the future, after the main storyline of TEN.
Also I want to tell little side-stories or spin-offs that don't really fit the main storyline at all time-wise.
Which brings me to a project I am actually working on right now, called [TORRENT] which is a timeless spin-off in which Kakyu and Noél get very touchy feely which each other and (hopefully) heal each other's wounded hearts over time in the end.
Right now [TORRENT]-Updates are only available to people who support me on patreon, but it will be available to everyone else online for free (yes!) as a whole (yes!) after I finished the 60-or-so pages long story. I will publish it myself in English and German, so if you want, you can buy a paperback version, but because I publish it myself you have the freedom to choose to read it online for free only as well.
I'll probably finish [TORRENT] sometime in October, so please look forward to it. =) I'll update thrice a week because I think it's more fun to show it to you page by page instead of gulping it down in one go.
So... one page to go.
Please don't be mad at me anymore for not uploading TEN fully. ówo Or don't get mad, that the next one will be the last one. Maybe someday the publisher will say "Ahh, whatever, just upload all of it!".
We will never know what the future brings. ówo
Until then we still have the possibility of buying the book in English. Right now it's not available but I asked my editor / publisher last Thursday. The book is at the printer's and it's a matter of days or maybe a week or two until they're done and arrive at the publisher. So it won't be long now.
(The book itself has been done since march. The German version is out since the middle of march and is constantly sold out too @___@ so it's really in the hand of the printers right now.)
In the end... not so end-ish end I hope you had a lot of fun and enjoyed the ride just as much as I did!
I hope you continue reading my stories and being pleased by them. ówo# As I will definitely continue to telling stories and be happy about everyone who likes them.
=) Let's not say good-bye.
I will miss reading this comic so much I adore it and it keeps me wanting more. let me just say thank you for such a wonderful comic
I live in Germany, and searched thru all of the internet, but i couldn't find a single side, where i could buy the German version of the comic. Does it have another name or something? you told its totally sold out, but there must be some informations about it anywhere, am i right? I'd be so happy, if you could answer me some of m questions, because i would rlly enjoy reading the comic in german :)
You mean, like the publisher's site?
Everything that's not marked "ENGLISH" is German.
