The last online-page... OxO *holds breath*
I love them so much! This page is perfect! Also is there another volume coming? Or is this the last one? T.T
@Hally : This is the last one of the main story. TwT But I feel there's so much more to tell, so I'll probably do lots and lots of "doujinshi" and spin-offs.
(like [TORRENT] which I'm doing right now, in which Kakyu and Noél get pretty touchy feely with each other. XD )
@Soen Kai: T.T so saaaaad! But I guess I'll have to manage with re-reading the 3 volumes over and over again while waiting for sidestories and other awesome stuff from you :')
the rest will come out later at another time, when the comic is fully printed. ^^
I can't believe this is the last online page! I look forward to purchasing the last volume, and to any other future works in the TEN universe! Congratulations on the success the published German version has had already. :) I've followed updates on here for a while, so thank you for sharing. (I love these boys)
Ahhh! Congrats on finishing (almost finishing?) your story ;v; and thanks so much for sharing it with us!
I'll be buying the last volume eventually when I get some spare moneys~
(will the shadowy girl from KAE be explained? I know she hasn't been in TEN but I'm so curious :'D)
Ahh...another end to an era. First ARH, and now TEN! (And I think Starfighter is drawing to a close soon as well. WHAT DO I READ NOW??)
I look forward to the side stories, extras, and third volume! Thank you so, so much SK, it's been a heckuva ride! <3
Oh, ARH ended? °_° (I really need to read up on that one. XD)
OwO <3 Don't worry, I'll start a really long 100% online free webcomic at the end of the year. *lol* You won't run dry.
I can't wait to get the last volume of this series! *__* Let us know when we can buy it online! *^*
OMG, this is so good~ I didn't understand if it's gonna have another historys, but, GOOD JOB! I'm so grateful for this creation, you really bring me joy :>
Hope you have success and write another comic!
P.S.: Read in one day <3 I couldn't stop~
Which books/stories have English translations that I can or will be able to buy?
I know that I'm whining, but I really don't like getting involved in a story and then finding that licensing prevents me from finding out how it ends.
All of them. Licensing doesn't prevent you from finding out, how they end, at all. =)
The third book is at the printer's right now. The first two have been available already on the website of the publisher - either in ebook or printed form.
Please see http://ten.smackjeeves.com/comics/2032328/how-to-order-01/ for a detailed tutorial on how to order. (The website is sadly still in German. I have no hand in that, otherwise I would have changed that long ago.)
@Soen Kai: So... when's the ebook of book 3 coming out? :)
(also... it appears there's no more "checkout as a guest" option.)
For comedic purposes, here's my experience and thought process as an American trying to figure out how to do this:
Hmm, no "checkout as a guest" option.
Let's see... Vorname is probably First Name, Nachname is probably Last Name... better try translate.google.com to make sure I'm not putting them in backwards... and Vorname has no translation. Neither does Nachname. This will be fun.
Firma... that's probably "company name", and I'm not representing a company so I leave that blank. E-Mail-Adresse seems fairly straightforward.
Adresse, straightforward. Stadt... is that "state"? No, "Staat/Provinz" is next, but it's a dropdown for a lot of states or provinces in Germany. Let's figure this out... Stadt is probably "city", and I'll skip the state selection for now. Postleitzahl seems to be "postal code", that's easy enough. Thankfully it's not enforcing specific national norms on that field.
Land. Oh hey, I see "Afghanistan"! This is the selection for what nation I'm in! Scroll down and... what? Uganda, Ukraine, Ungarn (what's Ungarn?), Uruguay, Usbekistan... where's United States? Let's try looking under America... Amerikanische Jungferninseln, Amerikanisch-Ozeaniein, Amerikanisch-Samoa. No love here. Why can't they include the ISO country codes in parentheses?
Head over to translate.google.com, translate from English to German, type "United States"... and get back Vereinigte Staaten. Swap back, select it from the list... oh hey, the Staat/Provinz field becomes a dropdown. "Bitte Region, Staat oder Provinz auswählen" Please Region, State or Province ('select'? 'choose'?) Well, my state is in there, and even spelled in the English way.
Telefon: they want my phone number. I don't even know how to format my phone number for international use... but I do know US is country code 1, and I know that + is the symbol used for the country code, so I'll just format it like my phone company formats it with a +1 at the beginning of it. I have no Fax number. But now they want a password that I'm never going to remember.
And now... "Einkaufswagen ist leer Sie haben keine Artikel in Ihrem Einkaufswagen." translate.google.com says this is: "Shopping cart is empty You have no items in your shopping cart."
It took me more time to figure out the registration than it took for them to time out my shopping cart?!
WHAT ARE THEY DOING?!!!! They're making this experience hostile to the people who want to give them money, and the only reason I've not been scared away from this is because I'm trying to support an artist whose work I enjoy. What gives?
(Note: The first draft of this had a LOT more swearing in it.)
Oh, hell. Evidently, they strip '+' from email addresses, and replace it with ' '. The first thing is bad enough (yes, + is a perfectly legitimate character in an email address)... but the second part GUARANTEES that it becomes undeliverable. And they won't let me get into the account to fix it without clicking a link in an email they've sent to an address that I provided them in perfectly working order, but that they've mangled into undeliverability.
And the best part? They only let me find this out AFTER I PAID THEM.
Now, I have to try to get them to fix this. I hope that their customer service department has somebody who can speak or read English.
Thank you for sharing your in-depth experience with us. ówo°
After reading I contacted my publisher and asked about the third volume and it turned out that it should have been on the site two months ago, but due to an technical error it wasn't.
They quickly reacted though and it's available now.
As soon as they get your email they'll get back to you.
Don't worry, they all speak English fluently and will help you as best they can.
By the way it's only because you chose ebooks, that you could not order as a guest. Because you will be able to download and re-download the ebook as often as you like via your account at Cured. Therefore you'd need an account, otherwise how / where would you download. =)
